eThemes

Since the state adopted the new technology course of study we have received multitudes of requests for lessons that use technology. Teachers are letting us know that they would like to have lessons that are pre-made and high quality. It can be troubling trying to locate the lessons and resources that teachers need for technology lessons. That’s where eThemes comes in.

eThemes is a service provided by the University of Missouri for teachers across the United States. As a searchable database of  technology rich lessons, eThemes can help teachers find ready made lessons or resources to help teach lessons that meet the state technology course of study. In addition to helping meet the technology standards, resources from eThemes can help meet other state course of study standards. Originally the eThemes were only aligned to Missouri state standards but since they allow eMINTS teachers to request lessons and state alignments we are able to ask that the  resouces be alligned to our state standards.

At each of our schools we have a contact for eThemes. In addition to these contacts eMINTS teachers can request new eThemes or that existing eThemes be aliened to our state standards.
