Exploring Mount Vernon Virtual Field Trip Added to APT Plus

In February, Alabama Public Television partnered with the Mount Vernon Estate to create a virtual field trip for students in Alabama. As a service for teachers, APT has uploaded the video to the APT Plus website and it’s free for all Alabama teachers to show in their classrooms. The field trip is designed for grades 4-8 and based on the Alabama course of study for social studies it would be perfect for 5th grade teachers to use. That doesn’t mean other teachers can’t use it, but it would definitely help those teachers cover part of their course of study.  Log on to http://www.aptplus.org/ and sign in with your APTPLUS Username and Password to enter Learn360 to stream “Exploring Mount Vernon” from the Learn360 website. Baldwin County teachers that have never logged into APTPlus can create an account on this page as well.
