New Course Format for Moodle
A new course format is now available to teachers. The Monthly Format allows you to set start/end dates and the course will have one section for each month during that time. It will automatically add a heading to each block showing the name of the month and the year.

Using Moodle for Student Organizations
Moodle courses provide many tools for communicating and collaborating. Student organizations (such as student councils, drama clubs, math teams, etc.) could have a Moodle course to post news, have discussions, share ideas, plan events, etc. Everything is kept private so only group members could access it.
