March 21st, 2011 by Nicole Godbold

STEP 1: Not only is smoking tobacco bad for your health, but this habit eats up a lot of money, too. A pack of cigarettes costs $4.50, on average. That means, even if you buy just one pack a week, you’ll spend $___ in a year. Fill in the blank by finding the answer. This blog IS for a grade!

STEP 2: Go to this link and read through the article: http://kidshealth.org/kid/watch/house/smoking.html

STEP 3: Use this article to research how smoking affects your health.

STEP 4: Then, you will design a “No Smoking T-Shirt” to get the message out about the risks of smoking. You T-Shirt must include at least four facts about why smoking is bad for you, and it should look really cool so kids will want to wear it!
