We’re reading several stories about how people were treated in either a welcoming or an unwelcoming way. What have people you know made you feel welcome? What did they do to make you feel that way? Have you done anything to make someone you know feel welcome or special here at the beginning of a new school year? What could you do to welcome someone you know or a new friend into a great new school year?
When you finish a book, novel, article, or whatever you’re reading, post a recommendation for your classmates to read. Be sure to include the title & author. Start your recommendation by telling how many “estrellas” (Spanish Fort Stars) you give it, from one to five. You can give half stars.
How much do you have to do after school? Do you feel like your life is just busy enough, or do you love what you do so much that you’d rather do that than anything else?
