One place that I visited and felt out of place was Japan. I was so much different than the Japanese kids and I didn’t know any Japanese. They thought that I was weird and spoke an odd language. I was very curious at the time and wondered what stuff was like for them. For example, in America, we just hop in the bath tub to take a bath. For them, they must first rinse themselfs with a shower-headed hose and then get into the bath.

When I went to Virginia to visit family with my mom, Mrs. Christy, and I. Mrs. Christy’s daughter Emily was going to go with us and then decided to stay in Tennessee with her daddy. The day we got up there, my grandmother decided we should all go to the fair. I didn’t know anyone there and looked like an idiot all by myself jjust wandering around.

I like Miland’s response because that is exactly how I felt in my position. I also like Danielle’s response because I know how it feels to be out of place somewhere around a whole bunch of people I don’t know.

I moved from Robertsdale, Alabama to Seminole, Alabama. Also I transfered schools too. The schools were nothing alike. Robertsdale is a big school with lots of teachers(45). Elsanor is a small school with about 9-10 teachers. I was extremly shy when I came here. Now I have some new friends and new things to learn. Also it is very hard trying to get settled in a brand new place being the new kid. Eventualy you will have fun and feel right at home.

One i went to California, but not the Hollywood parts.I felt so out of place when we passed through the neigherhoods because I’d never seen such high class, and large houses. When we went to the stores alot of the people with hair that was colored. In California Walmarts there was a woman with green hair that had white tips how weird. It was a great place to be, and shop, but not my kind of place.

Wow, Hannah it does sound a little scary to go up that far. I mean all the way to virginia is a long way from home. I would be terified at the virginia fair. Thats alright though because you eventually get over the fact that you are in a new place and you warm up to it.
