Week Ten Reflections

Saturday 23rd October 2010 - 7:30:13 AM

We have now moved through our second week of having our numbers split and through our tenth week of school. The first nine week grading period has completely ended and is now in the books. The report cards will go home this next Friday so keep your eyes open for those. We continued our efforts to learn about nouns and their uses. We also worked very hard to learn about simple interest and the percent of a number. Sadly I believe several students are still struggling with this skill. If you (parents) can continue to work with your child at home with this skill, it would mean a great deal to me because on Monday we will be moving on to new concepts. It is my desire and hope that we will have the opportunity to revisit this skill again before testing but we can not count completely on that. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and are ready to learn when we return to the classroom on Monday morning.
