Many of you have requested a link to the Kindergarten Kove site and the Waltke Web site for Scott Foresman.  You can click on their name in this post and it will take it to their site.  Some sites I use for the smart files are the Foresman Pearson site to access the teacher’s textbook and leveled readers and United Streaming to find movies and movie clips.  You have to sign up for these accounts but, the cost is paid by the district so there is no cost to you.  If you haven’t got your account yet, it is very worth doing so.

What are some other favorite sites that you use for resources?  Post them in the comment section of this post.

      I use http://www.kellyskindergarten.com and http://www.carlscorner.us.com/

Both of these sites have wonderful resources.

Also, http://www.hubbardscupboard.org/ is another one with great printables.

      Thanks!

I use http://www.literactive.com for great interactive reading games and stories in both English and Spanish.
Another site with a variety of learning activities is http://teachers.cr.k12.de.us/~galgano/dibel2.htm
      Thanks for the great site!

I really like http://www.jmeacham.com, she use to teach K but has recently switched to 1st but still has fabulous ideas. I use her writer’s workshop and poetry journal ideas and the kids love them!

Kindergarten Kove and Waltke’s websites have really helped me this year with the reading program. They have some great small group activities that go with each week. My kids love the I Spy pages from Kindergarten Kove. They have really helped them recognize their sight words as well as color words.

I love the amount of information in the Kindergarten Kove and Waltke’s websites! There are so many resources there that are already made for you to use in the classroom! I will definitely be using the websites for future use!

I have found that http://tizmos.com/ works great for my homepage. Tizmos lets you see thumbnails of your favorite sites and access them anywhere!

I have really enjoyed this site especially at the end of the year when they really need more hands on activities. http://www.kidscount1234.com/mathcentersandgames.html

I love the tizmos site and I uploaded several other favorites to it. Thanks for sharing it. I have already used resources from the kidscount1234 site. I needed some hands on activities to keep my kids working and it had a ton to choose from. Thanks again!

My class loves to play with pattern blocks. I found this site where you can print out the mats using the pattern blocks. They can make alligators, bees, and flowers. My kids really enjoyed them. The mats are in color and also black and white.

Not sure where to post this but I wanted to ask if anyone has heard of National Clicks?

Can someone help me find it?

Overheard some co-workers talking about it all week but didn’t have time to ask so I thought I would post it here to see if someone could help me out.

Seems to be getting alot of buzz right now.

      Thanks
