I am currently a kindergarten teacher in Baldwin County, Alabama.  I am teaching at Foley Elementary this year and have 19 students including 7 ESL.  After being out of the regular classroom last year while being a reading interventionist, I am working hard to get the flow back of the kindergarten classroom.

We will be on 1-3 in Foley the week of Labor Day.  I havent had a lot of time to work on this site due to being back in the classroom but will always add things as I am doing them.

We will begin Unit 1 at Foley Elementary this week.  Sorry that I haven’t added anything lately.  It has been a BUSY summer.  Between summer school, getting a classroom ready, I Teach K conference in Vegas, AMSTI, and a one week trip to Illinois it flew by!  I will be adding weekly to the site now….      Shelley

I love using music and videos in my kindergarten classroom!  One of my favorite music/video dvd’s is the Pre-K Pup shown above.  It includes music videos on sight words, colors, shapes, and word families.
