The school year has begun and we are already working hard. Please remember we will have a parent’s meeting on September 1 at 5:30. We will meet in the kindergarten classrooms. Jump Start begins Monday, July 11th, 2011. Students need to arrive by 8:00 and be picked up at 11:00. We will have Jump Start Monday-Thursday and will be in session for 3 weeks. If you have questions please do not hesitate to ask. We are always available
Kindergarten will be participating in the up coming Christmas play during the next PTA meeting on December16th. We are in need of volunteers to help us with a special craft project, please let your child’s teacher know if you are available to help.
I am still in need of volunteers to help out at the Harvest Festival. If you are able, please let me know so I can place you on the schedule. Thanks! We are selling candy paddles and having a fishing booth. All items will be 1 ticket. If you haven’t purchased your tickets please do so ASAP!!!! Good Afternoon,
We will have a school wide Harvest Festival on Friday, October 29th, from 12:30-2:30. This will be in lieu of a traditional classroom party for Halloween. Each teacher is responsible for a game booth and a food item. More information is forth coming….please be on a look out for a note from your child’s teacher. Students will purchase tickets ahead of time for the Harvest Festival. It should be a lot of fun!!! Thanks ahead of time for your support.
Our payment to ensure our seats is due to the Ballet company. If you have not sent your money, please do so ASAP.
Library books are coming home. Please take care of them, listen to your child read them nightly or read their book to them nightly. Books should be returned to school daily. We have silent reading time and they will be testing on these books.
There seems to be some confusion about the “project” due Monday. 
Students should cut pictures from magazines depicting healthy and unhealthy things that people “put in their mouths” for example: vegetables vs tobacco products. They should bring these pictures to school on Monday. I hope this clears things up.
Our last day for Kona Ice is Wednesday, September 29th.
