Tell me about the book you wrote on Vertebrate and Invertebrate.

This is going to be a great year!  I’m very excited about moving up to 4th grade.  Students, it has been a HOT summer, but I know you all have a great adventure to tell me about.  So lets start the year off right and write about your  summer vacation.  What are some things you plan to learn and accomplish in the 4th grade.  Be specific and write complete sentences.

WOW!  I cannot believe 3rd grade is over!!!!! It has been a great school year.  What was your favorite part of third grade?  What are you planning for summer vacation?

How does the local government affect the lives of people in the community?

SPRING BREAK!  Who is ready for Fun In The Sun? Spring Break is a time for you to relax and have fun without thinking of school for 1 week.  My family is planning a short trip together.  We have not decide on a location, but we are planning to have a GREAT time.  What are you planning to do this Spring Break? List some activities you are planning to do while School is Out for the week.

Testing Time

For the last couple of weeks you have heard the words “Testing Time”! In the classroom we have talked about test taking strategies that will be helpful to use during the test.  Also, we have viewed videos and powerpoints giving you ideas and advice for testing days.

How did George Washington’s life change our country?

“Wings” was a great story about a boy that was different from everyone else. How was he different? What did his friend do to make him smile? What did you learn from the story?

This weekend my family had fun at a Christmas Party.  We made crafts, wrote Christmas notes, and had pictures with Santa.  How great it is to spend time with family and friends while celebrating the Christmas Season.  How was your  weekend?
