Our Classroom Norms
- Use correct typing skills at the computers.
- Keep agendas neat. Don’t mess up agendas.
- Help someone every day.
- Don’t tattle-tale, but do tell a teacher about serious issues.
- Don’t waste supplies. There will always be enough for everyone.
- Walk quietly. Don’t squeak your shoes on purpose.
- Don’t pass notes during lessons.
- Respect our classroom. Don’t draw on the tables.
- Don’t interrupt people.
- Return money or lost property that we find, instead of keeping it for ourselves.
- Be sure to get teacher permission before going to the restroom.
- Always study for tests.
- Never get in fights. Go to Mrs. Gripp or Mrs. Guy if you have a problem with another student.
- Don’t make sounds that will distract other students.
- Don’t move icons around on the desktops of any computers.
- Do your homework even if you have somewhere to go.
- Don’t hog the computers. Take turns.
- Walk quietly on the sidewalks. Don’t run.
- Come to school with a happy positive attitude.
- Don’t draw on yourself or other people.
- Don’t lean back on the chairs because you might fall and get hurt.
- Tell someone, “Happy Birthday!” on their birthday.
- Never make fun of anyone.
- Always have a great attitude.
- Don’t tap pencils.
- Wave and smile at the little kids when they pass by, but don’t talk to them because they’re supposed to walk silently.
