In Project jubilee we have been talking about a new game called stock market. In stock market you are given $100,000 so you can buy different stocks like for example my group has all ready bought Apple, Google, and Nike and we have decided to watch Target, Wal-Mart, and Hershey. But here is the thing we are only aloud to by certain stocks. We are only aloud to by stocks on the NASDAQ and the NYSE. So Mrs. Heald
Told us to make sure before we buy a stock. An that` s all I have to tell you about the incredible stock market.
We also have been working on another project it is for the sister school in Japan. They wanted to know what it is like to live in America. So we are trying to show them. These are are the steps we have to take to create it. First, we had too write a ruff draft telling Mrs. Heald how we were going to make our videos. Next, we had too write our final copy that we finished last week. Now it is time to make our videos and we have up to three weeks to finish that part. And that is all that we have been doing recently.

The fun of technology!

My life in Project Jubilee is fun. But, the best thing is the technology. For a kid it may seem a little geekish but what can I say, I’m obsessed! First, is the brand of everything is promeathean. It seems as if it’s eating our classroom but its not. So I will tell you every technologically advanced thing about the PJ classroom. What’s new: I say new but some of it we got last year so that means it’s not new I just mean the concept is new. But still some of it is new. Alright let’s get to the point we have four new things. First let’s talk about the interactive white board it comes with an active pen which we’ll talk about next. The board lets you not only let you use that projector you just bought but allows you to take votes with one other thing we will also talk about next. O.K. the pen is what you use with the board ant tablet too. It acts as the mouse. The tablet is also a board hand held that is, the vote system lets you type a question and answer with a phone looking thing. Here is the link…http://www.prometheanworld.com/us/

Mask Scavenger Hunt

Today we did a mask scavenger I really enjoyed it because we learned about different types of masks like the helmet mask, face mask and the headdress mask and I thought there was only one type. So that was interesting to me.

Internet scavenger hunt

I really like this activity we did. It was about masks.Using hyperlinks, we had to answer questions about different cultures and countries masks were used in. We also had to tell about the symbolism of colors and other fun things about the meaning of animal features we might use in our masks. I really like that activity. I hope everyone did too.

scavenger hunt

Today we finished our mask Internet scavenger hunt. It was not fun at all but it was interesting. We do these in the computer lab. There are hyperlinks on the page with questions that follow. You hold control and click the link. Once you are the the site, you read to learn and to find the answers to the questions. It is sort of fun. I was the first one done in todays class.
