Do you have a favorite place or subject in school? Oh boy I do!!! My favorite place in school is Project Jubilee!! Mostly because of the fun, artistic, and challenging things we do. In Project Jubilee we learn about challenging things such as Math center or think 1 ,but we are on think 3 its not the easiest thing to do it is very challenging . For the artistic things we do we are painting these art scenes of the beach and the sunset with water color paint. A fun thing we do is we play chess and we do Temari. We also do kumihimo. I love all of the things we do in Project Jubilee. I also love my wonderful teacher Mrs. Heald. She is always saying “she will bend over backwards for us” But we have to ask for help to get the help that she is offering. She is always offering her help, and I really appreciate that!!!!! Those are just some of the awesome things we do in my favorite place in school!!!

Project Jubilee has been really fun lately. We have done Shakespear, optical illusions, and weaving!!! We are going on a field trip to see Shakespear’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Trojan Hall next week. Today, we finished up our coat of arms, worked on some optical illusions, and talked about Shakespear. We hope Mrs.Heald will allow us to start up class dojo again. For those who don’t remeber class dojo, it is everyone has a little avatar that looks like a monster. From then on Mrs.Heald can give our little monsters points for good behavior or, she could deduct points for negative behavior. Also, we are doing little projects with a different topic for each person. My topic is Leis Ericson and the war of the roses. We are allowed to show our facts with a video or a audio podcast. I think I will get a LiveBinder to store my information. We could also get a Prezi but, I prefer a LiveBinder. That’s all I have to say today!! Bye!!!!

In PJ this week are doing the Medieval person and event our teacher gave us. We had to research the person and learn their life, fiction or not. Our event was very important also. For our event we could have gotten a battle or an art piece. Most of our class, however didn’t finish our homework. So we had to go to the library and computer lab to do more reseach and gather the homework they were already supposed to have done. This week has been a very interesting to find out more about an important person in the middle ages.

So on the 5th of January we started out doing our 4 week over due coat of arms, which is a family thing from midevial times, but i was done aready so I helped someone else(also ms.heald called all the people that were not done + me,but i didnt feel like correcting here). After that ms.heald took out a bag with pieces with it and took a random one and gave it to me, “draw it bigger”thats what she said (hahaha). Next i drew it of course but I only did the top because i was still helping people with their coat of arms. So it kinda went the same till the end of project jublee, so I got my folder wrote all Good because “I WAS OF COURSE”and I showed it to Ms.Heald and she looked strait at it and I put it in my binder A.K.A folder, and she stopped me at the door and said I need to see your folder so it took like two min. to get my folder out and show it again, then put it back in my binder to finnaly I say Leave the class room to go back to my home room.

Hi, I’m Kara and in Project Jubilee last week we worked on our coat of arms. We only have a few more people that are finishing. We also did chess with notations. We learned how many points each piece meant except the king, which is priceless. We have received all the information for the BIG Project Jubilee field trip to Atlanta, Georgia. My friends and I are so excite for this field trip. We also need old t-shirts donated for an art project we are doing with the loom to make a rug for the classroom. Project Jubilee is fun.

Hi I’m Jordan and so far Project Jubilee rocks! We have do Ada Lovelace, a female mathematician. Dale Chihuly a glass artist. Optical illusions which eveyone is familiar with! My personal favorite so far is our plastic bottle fish. That was when we painted our fish on the inside of the bottles. That way it looked glossy and when we set it down to dry it wouldn’t ruin the tables. Also, just to shake things up a bit Mrs.Heald has started a thing called class dojo where everyones picture is a little monster and Mrs.Heald can either give point to us or deduct points depending on our behavior. And, just a shout out, Mrs.Heald, you are awesome!!!Go PJ!!!

Project Jubilee has been way awesome! I am in the Wednsday and Thursday classes. We are learning about jazz and all the students got assigned a jazz musician, mine was Cab Calloway. The class is going to make a slideshow with our information of the jazz musician. We also have been learning alot about art,Like the principles and elements.we have been getting alot into Dale Chihuly the glass artist. He does crazy things with glass. He makse it swirly and spikey. All his art work stands out from the rest sometimes literally. Our class all started on these fish made out of 2 liter bottles. We haven’t gotten very far though. One of the other things we are doing is optical illusions. Some things we have done is a wavy hand made out of a million lines. It gives the impression that a hand is in all those lines. Another thing we did in optical illusions was floating bars. It is long widening bars coming from a certain view point on a paper. The bars are coloured too. There is also a field trip coming up to the Dolphin Island Sea Lab. I am really excited!

Hello Project Jubilee students it is I the amazing and awesome Mason. I have to blog this week so lets do this thing! This week in Project Jubilee (also known as the best class ever) we have been learning about famous jazz musicians. We also learned how to draw these really cool things called flying bars witch I thing everyone would enjoy (ok not everyone but you know what I mean). A therd thing is that we should be painting these soda bottles or something like that (I’m pretty sure the teacher said we were painting them). Allright well this is my blog for PROJECT JUBILEE.
